Engaged - Allison and Alex

When I first met with Allison I was not expecting all the crazy and unique ideas they were coming up with for their engagement session and wedding. This couple was loads of fun and you will see for yourself how happy these two are in the photos below.  We just shot their wedding this past weekend so those photos will be up on the blog later and you must check those out. They had one surprise after another for their guests. I'll leave one hint to what their getaway car was.  - "Who you gonna call?"
So for the engagement session we started at Freedom Park, which is a place both Allison and Alex grew up visiting. They now spend a lot of time together in this beautiful Charlotte location.
Loved the way that Alex could make Allison smile. It was constant throughout our session!

Here you will see how goofy these two are. Sweet to Silly.

These next two photos were Allison and Alex's fav and mine too!

They first met on a dinner date at Phillips Place, so this place seemed most fitting for the second half of our session. You might notice that Alex has no goatee in these shots that's because he shaved it off for Allison. Sweet.

Thank you "Alexson"! Can't wait to share your wedding photos with you. Stay tuned.

The Fink Life - Haddon 10 Months

So my nephew is actually 11.5 months old. I'm way behind on getting this post up and I'm sure we will do a 1 year session as well. Perhaps I can get that post up on schedule. Haddon "Hadman" is just so cute! His hair cracks me up and you'll see for yourself the life it takes on in these photos.
 Here the hair goes up.
Here we have a string of drool.
When you ask Haddon, "How big is Haddon?" he will raise his hands and we say "so big!". He loves this.

Here the hair takes on a mohawk look.
Love this expression and the hair!

Some nakey time with his buddy giraffe.

 Handsome boy!
  He's a fast mover.

Engaged - Courtney & Bradley

Courtney and I go a long way back. Her father and my mother dated for eight years when we were just little tykes, so a lot of our childhood was spent together. We've been in contact over the years and I was so thrilled to hear of her engagement to Bradley! These two were just beaming with love. Our session was rescheduled due to rain one weekend and then it happened to fall on one of the coldest days of our spring season. Courtney and Bradley were troopers dealing with the chilly weather. I look forward to  your wedding day in May!

 Love this one.

 A favorite moment.

I forgot to post these last three images. This lovely goat kept us company for a some of the session.

I haven't tried a silhouette in a while. Loved how it turned out.
