Newborn - Mason Calvin Osborne

Mason is the new arrival to Heather and Bryan Osborne whom you might have seen in a recent maternity shoot. If you missed it you can view it here. Heather is the sister to one of my best friends, Meredith. It was a joy spending time with this family last week and getting to snuggle up with this precious boy. Photographing all these newborns is getting me pumped up for the arrival of my little boy in a few weeks!

These first few photos of are Mason in the blanket that his dad was brought home in from the hospital when he was a newborn. Love it when we can include nostalgic items in a photo shoot.

Bryan is a firefighter and asked if we could do some shots with his gear. I was all for it and loved how these turned out.

Maternity - Rebekah and Matthew

Bekah and I go back to college days when we worked together at Hallmark. We kept in touch through Facebook, but hadn't seen each other since 2005 when I graduated from school.  So I was super excited to see her again and meet her sweet husband, Matt. These two are going to be super fun parents! Bekah  and Matt are both amazing singers and met in a choral group in school.  I have enjoyed watching these two on Facebook with their adorable pictures of them and their dog, who I am looking forward to meeting when we do their newborn session. Annabelle their baby girl is due on March 17th so keep an eye out for their newborn session post.

We had to reschedule their session by one day due to the only snow we've gotten this winter. There still was snow on the ground and it was still pretty cold (40 degrees), but these two were troopers handling the cold weather. Well actually, Matt had a harder time with it. LOL. Every time I turned around to look at them he was wrapped up in either his coat or under the blanket.  

I'm only featuring one photo of Matt's bright blue shoes because he forgot to grab the shoes he was planning on wearing for the photo shoot. I told him I had to share :)

Family - The Tuttles

This is the lovely Tuttle family, which consist of Cameron (14), Riley (6),  Zoe (2), Thomas, and Kim. Kim had concerns that the family wasn't photogenic, but I beg to differ. All of them had something to give the camera and I think this mini session turned out great!

Loved little Zoe and her blue eyes and red hair!

 Riley was quite the modeler.

I thought Cameron was very natural in front of the camera.

And these two were so cute together.

Two of my favorites from the whole session! Zoe was on the run and wouldn't stop for a photo so I just captured what kids do, play.

Maternity - Heather and Bryan

Heather is the sister of Meredith, one of my best friends from childhood. You might have seen her recent maternity and newborn session of Abigail I posted last month. Well Bryan and Heather are expecting a little baby boy in March and I also will be doing their newborn session. I'm very excited, especially since we will be incorporating Bryan's firefighter gear into the session. You'll have to stay tuned to see those photos! They decided to do a mini session following after their baby shower. It was rather chilly, but they were both champs handling the cold.
