Newborn - Knox Ezekiel Tucker

So here it is. Knox's newborn session.  I've been so busy this season and have been anxious to get these up on the blog. If you missed the delivery video you can view it here. Newborn sessions are always a bit challenging, but when you throw in two more children under the age of three it gets real interesting! Knox's big brothers, Oliver and Cannan, did a pretty good job to say the least.
You'll notice a few silly happenings in this session. Do enjoy!
Thanks again Tuckers for allowing me to follow this little guys journey from pregnancy to birth.
Love you guys!

Birth- Knox Tucker

I had the amazing opportunity to document my dearest friends, Angela and Matt Tucker's 3rd childbirth a few weeks ago. I've documented my sister's childbirths, but this was my first for a friend and one of the hardest I'd seen. What we thought was going to be a quick delivery turned out to be a long fifteen hour delivery. Knox came out sunny side up so that explained a lot. Needless to say it was a long, tiring and emotional night. Matt was an excellent coach and Angela's sister, Amy, was there for support as well.
So once again, congrats to the Tucker family and thank you for giving me this exciting job. Enjoy this movie!

Maternity - Cody and Maria

So excited to share these images with you guys! Cody, my brother-in-law, and his gorgeous wife, Maria, are expecting their first child together. She is due any time now and I'm so looking forward to seeing this baby girl! Natalie and Kimmy are going to be the best big sisters. Every time they come to visit they're always looking for ways to help my little ones.

You may remember their Police themed engagement session we did a couple years back. Since they met in Concord I thought it fitting to have their session take place there.
I particularly enjoyed this session because of the closeness I have to them as a couple.  I remember hearing Cody talk about her the first months they met. I remember when it became clear he was heavily interested in her. I remember when the family first met Maria and how overwhelmed she must have been at our craziness. I remember when they got engaged. I remember when they got married.  Now, I get to be part of just another step in their growing relationship. It's been a blessing to see them evolve as a couple and a joy to see how the Lord has blessed them along the way. Plus, who wouldn't want to photograph those sweet, adorable girls with that "hot mama"!  (And some people say Cody's not bad looking either). Maria is always so much fun to capture on camera because she makes the images so dramatic with her beautiful features and style.
Congratulations you guys! We can't wait!

Family - The Gnilkas

This session just makes my heart happy! I've had the opportunity to document Allison and Alex's engagement session, Allison's bridals, their wedding and now their first child! It's so wonderful to have returning clients where I get to see and document the change in their lives over the years.

Baby Rosemary was just 3 months at this session. Those blue eyes, thick hair, and chubby cheeks just melted me. She's a doll!
Congratulations again Alex and Allison!

The pillow below was made by Allison's mom with remnants of Alex's mother's dress.

These vintage Mickey and Minnie Mouse posters were handed down from Alex's family.
