Engagement - Anne-Marie and Justin

Most couples take some time to warm up and feel comfortable in front of the camera but not these two. Anne-Marie and Justin personify love. Every time I asked for them to cuddle or kiss it was done with such passion.  I knew Justin from back in high school so it was very nice to catch up and speak of old times. When I finally got to meet Anne-Marie we hit it off so well. She has that type of personality that you feel like you've been friends with her for a long time.  Here's a little back story to how they met. On the first week of school in college these two met on campus of UNCC. Funny thing is Anne-Marie said she had told herself she didn't wasn't looking for a boyfriend or relationship in this first year of college. Well God had other plans and they were dating that month.

We start the session off at Dish in Noda. This is a restaurant that these two love to spend time at and it's so yummy! If you're in Charlotte you've got to try it out. And of course they had to order one of my favorite desserts, key lime pie. I was drooling!

These next few images were taken at the bridge on UNCC's campus in the exact spot they first met.

The cuff links below were a gift from Anne-Marie.

Family - The Vanhoys

When I first met the Vanhoys on the day of their session I felt such warmth from this little family. Kellie  you can clearly see is very sweet and has an infectious smile! David and son, Ryan (15 months), were absolutely an adorable father-son combo. The session took place on an early morning on their farm where they also reside. It was beautiful property with great weather and a quaint little family of animals.
I especially loved seeing Ryan interacting with his furry friends.

Their dog Mason loved getting into our shots and we didn't mind at all.

They had two donkeys and two horses (Dash and Ciji), who all loved following me around during the shoot. I received lots of love from these guys.

Here is where Ryan spotted his dad driving the tractor towards him. He loves his tractor!

These next three are some of my favorites.

Ryan is also very into wheels.
